How Can Dog Osteopathy Help?
The Dog Osteo helps dogs with conditions like arthritis, Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), hip and elbow dysplasia, and Canine Cruciate Ligament (CCL) injuries.
We also specialise in helping show and sporting dogs perform well in the ring.
If you’d like to ask us about if we can help, you’re welcome to call us!
What to expect when visiting us for the first time
We’ll talk to you about your dog’s needs and watch them move.
We may get your dog to sit or perform some basic tasks before performing a hands-on assessment.
Depending on what we find we’ll develop a plan moving forward.
Treatment may include hands-on therapy, laser therapy, dry needling or an exercise program.
Dog Osteopathy vs Dog Rehabilitation
We offer two services for your dog: Osteopathy and Rehabilitation.
Osteopathy takes a more hands-on approach to treatment and is great for dogs that are stiff, sore or not moving optimally.
Rehabilitation helps injured dogs return to normal function and usually involves a more active approach with exercises forming a large part of the plan.
Both osteopathy and rehabilitation can work together to form a complete approach to canine care.
